Welcome to REVELATION NATION a vortex like place where
"closure is a fiction" and "a man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do"!

The Book....

My book project

When asked to destroy and reconstruct a book it was like a childhood dream come true.....yes I love books but I'm one of those people that has to break the spine the second she receives one...this may freak some of you out...but a book in my opinion is made to be loved, it is a tactile creature, it wants you to hold it, it wants to be under your pillow, it does not enjoy being left on shelves alone. Since childhood I have always thought books have a magical power, when closed they whisper secrets to each other, when open you are allowed to share in these secrets. Books communicate- they are ALIVE!...It is the reader which gives them this aliveness, the exchange of energy from one to another which can in some cases be a world changing energy!

I wanted to play with the idea of what a book could be. Could it be something you love and hold?Could it be something with no beginning, no middle and no end? Could it set up a physical, emotional and intellectual discourse with its reader?

Barthes A LOVER'S DISCOURSE is "the site of someone speaking within himself, amorously, confronting the other, who doesn't speak...the lover's discourse is today, of an extreme solitude." How can we make the other interact with this one sided discourse? How can one eliminate solitude? Can the book provoke a reaction? Can it open up a conversation???

Some past work......

My Diary is an exploration of "Closure is a Fiction". I was interested in exploring how narrative can be deconstructed, ruptured and re-assembled to form a new way of reading and reacting: “writing as politics”.

Where is My mind....

My mind is in a constant state of flux, willy mason sings...

On and on, and on, and on it goes

The world it just keeps spinning

Until I'm dizzy, time to breathe

So close my eyes and start again anew

I think the only way to describe this is if you listen to an amazing song really loud and spin around in circles, preferably in a field with lots of bright magic sparkle filled lights, and keep spinning till you become a child again and feel so dizzy you may fall over!!!So now your on my wavelenght, my work is similar to this. I'm interested in exploring poetics through mixed media, a muddle of what is familiar and what is unfamiliar!

Poetics is sculpture?

Poetics is image?

Poetics is text?

Poetics is sound?

Poetics is you?

Poetics is Poetics?

So here the journey begins............
