my reading:
this is the sound of FOUND!
this is a rhythm that ends in the sound of FOUND! each time. I hear this sound:
title:
"today childishly: to PLAY"
line 1:
face- face a WINDOW. faced pulling a
line 2:
a- a FACE. a WINdow FACE. this is a pulling
line 4:
pulling and laced under a- a FACE this a
line 5:
pulling and pulling under a- a LACED FACE this
then there is a space
then the next two lines are SEE-SAWS
they are not sea sores
they are see saw
the sound of FOUND! is an upward inflection, a raising in pitch
the sound of SEE-SAW is the same but can be repeated like this:
a-A
A-a
a-A
A-a
face-FACE
FACE-face
face-FACE
FACE-face
there were also SEE-SAW before
WINdow face
window FACE
WINdow face
window FACE
LACED face
laced FACE
LACED face
laced FACE
this certainly reminds me of Gertrude Stein's interest in Children's word games, her alphabet book period
the
a- a face
is a new sound
a new FOUND! sound
of a new you
of a you new
